This bottle depicts a Carolina Wren perched on native honeysuckle. The unglazed image is painted with underglaze, and the area surrounding the image is glazed in jade green. Interior and neck are glazed in black. The background gilding is metallic acrylic paint and is a reaction to our country’s experiencing a new gilded age, where the haves have left the have-nots far behind. Functional as a vase, but please hand-wash only. Extremely one of a kind.
