This bowl is a trophy piece! In the cameo center is porcelain vine, glazed in my bittersweet glaze combo—red on the leaves and amber over all. In this case, there are also red clay “berry” accents. Two outer rings of iron-oxide-washed church-key pattern delineate the cameo from the frieze. The frieze features three fern impressions in an iron-rich deep amber celadon. The bowl is trimmed in black. Totally one of a kind.
