I was really excited recently to have discovered Anne Vaughn’s work—she’s a jewelry designer in Floyd, Virginia. Her work is elegant, sparkly, tasteful, can be dressed up or down, and is reasonably priced. She uses real stones and gems in lovely combinations. I almost sold out of what I had in stock of her work during the Studio Tour in November, and happily, I was able to restock in time for the holidays.

Persephone walks the line between winter's dark and the first flush of spring, and this bracelet carries both moods. Faceted rhodolite garnet in wine and rose, bright peridot and oval watermelon tourmaline beads are strung with gold filled spacers and a few dark iridescent beads, closing with a gold filled lobster claw clasp that adjusts from 7.5 to 8.5 inches. The metal is lead and nickel free. Stack it with plain gold bangles, or wear it alone through a long autumn dinner.
