I was really excited recently to have discovered Anne Vaughn’s work—she’s a jewelry designer in Floyd, Virginia. Her work is elegant, sparkly, tasteful, can be dressed up or down, and is reasonably priced. She uses real stones and gems in lovely combinations. I almost sold out of what I had in stock of her work during the Studio Tour in November, and happily, I was able to restock in time for the holidays.
Designed for the slow slide from summer into fall, Golden Hour deepens its colors as the light turns soft. Small faceted beads of red and tan jasper, black obsidian and olive-green rhyolite line up with rose-gold-toned stardust rounds on a single strand, finished in matte gold plated brass that is lead and nickel free. A lobster claw clasp adjusts it from 7.5 to 8.5 inches. Slim enough to stack, it layers neatly with a watch or the collection's multistrand pieces.
