I was really excited recently to have discovered Anne Vaughn’s work—she’s a jewelry designer in Floyd, Virginia. Her work is elegant, sparkly, tasteful, can be dressed up or down, and is reasonably priced. She uses real stones and gems in lovely combinations. I almost sold out of what I had in stock of her work during the Studio Tour in November, and happily, I was able to restock in time for the holidays.

Celestial and softly luminous, Blue Moon pairs deep lapis with shimmer borrowed from the sea. Small beads of lapis lazuli, sodalite, labradorite, pyrite, mother of pearl and a bronze freshwater pearl line this delicate collage bracelet, centered on an iridescent abalone disc and framed by gold filled spacers. Sized to adjust between 7.5 and 8.5 inches, it closes with a gold filled lobster clasp and is lead and nickel free. Alongside fine gold bangles and a breezy cotton sundress, it feels right at home in summer.
