I was really excited recently to have discovered Anne Vaughn’s work—she’s a jewelry designer in Floyd, Virginia. Her work is elegant, sparkly, tasteful, can be dressed up or down, and is reasonably priced. She uses real stones and gems in lovely combinations. I almost sold out of what I had in stock of her work during the Studio Tour in November, and happily, I was able to restock in time for the holidays.
Seaside carries the cool blues and soft whites of a shoreline morning. From each sterling silver ear wire, a slender textured loop holds a cluster of round kyanite, white pearls and faceted iolite in shades of denim and violet. All of it is lead and nickel free, and the earrings measure about 1.5 inches. They feel right at home at a beach wedding, worn with a flowing sky-blue dress and bare shoulders.
