I was really excited recently to have discovered Anne Vaughn’s work—she’s a jewelry designer in Floyd, Virginia. Her work is elegant, sparkly, tasteful, can be dressed up or down, and is reasonably priced. She uses real stones and gems in lovely combinations. I almost sold out of what I had in stock of her work during the Studio Tour in November, and happily, I was able to restock in time for the holidays.
Seaside pieces carry the easy, sunlit calm of a day spent near the water, simple enough to wear from morning to evening. Two hoops link together here, a smaller sterling silver ring above a larger gold filled one, creating a light two-tone dangle about 1.5 inches long. Gold filled ear wires finish the pair. Mixing happily with both silver and gold jewelry, they go with a striped tee and white jeans or a slip dress for dinner out.
