I was really excited recently to have discovered Anne Vaughn’s work—she’s a jewelry designer in Floyd, Virginia. Her work is elegant, sparkly, tasteful, can be dressed up or down, and is reasonably priced. She uses real stones and gems in lovely combinations. I almost sold out of what I had in stock of her work during the Studio Tour in November, and happily, I was able to restock in time for the holidays.
Soft seafoam blues and sunlit gold carry the calm of the shoreline through the Ocean Waves Collection. Bezel-set in gold filled metal, a cushion-cut aquamarine sits above a tiny cluster of taupe chalcedony beads and a deep blue kyanite drop. Hung on gold filled ear wires, they measure 1.5 inches and are lead and nickel free. Something blue for a beach wedding, they also look lovely with a linen sundress on the boardwalk.
