I was really excited recently to have discovered Anne Vaughn’s work—she’s a jewelry designer in Floyd, Virginia. Her work is elegant, sparkly, tasteful, can be dressed up or down, and is reasonably priced. She uses real stones and gems in lovely combinations. I almost sold out of what I had in stock of her work during the Studio Tour in November, and happily, I was able to restock in time for the holidays.
Inspired by sun-warmed earth and the quiet turn from late summer into fall, Golden Hour is about carrying that radiance with you. Each earring swings a tortoiseshell-toned Czech glass coin in honey and brown from an elongated matte gold plated brass oval link, 1.5 inches long on matte gold ear wires. The brass is lead and nickel free. The clean, slender line slips easily into a workday wardrobe and still looks right with a weekend flannel.
