I was really excited recently to have discovered Anne Vaughn’s work—she’s a jewelry designer in Floyd, Virginia. Her work is elegant, sparkly, tasteful, can be dressed up or down, and is reasonably priced. She uses real stones and gems in lovely combinations. I almost sold out of what I had in stock of her work during the Studio Tour in November, and happily, I was able to restock in time for the holidays.
After rain, the woods turn the greens and blues that Earthy Girl celebrates, for the woman who wears them well. A loose cluster of faceted green Czech glass, small turquoise rounds, and a single abalone bead dangles from a textured sterling silver oval, nickel and lead safe, so each piece catches light as you move. Sterling silver ear wires hold the 1.75-inch drop. Pull your hair back and wear them with a white eyelet blouse, or add them to a navy blazer for a touch of color.
