Japanese Maple Vine-Handled Teapot in Sapphire Blue

A charming teapot glazed in sapphire blue with hand-pulled clay vine handles. Impressions of Japanese Maple leaves and seeds grace the sides. The intricate church-key pattern at base, shoulder and lid is brushed with a red iron oxide wash. Trimmed in black and topped with a hand-sculpted little bird as the knob. Food safe. Hand wash (the handle is delicate). Use with a tea ball or tea bags. Holds 5 cups.
