White Baneberry Plate in Sapphire Blue, Heirloom
This is an heirloom piece, meaning that a customer has sold it back to me (or donated it) for resale to a new customer to enjoy and spread the joy. This plate is impressed with a frond of white baneberry (doll’s eyes) and glazed in sapphire celadon. Back when I made it, I was still firing in my huge reduction kiln, so the color of the red iron oxide on the churchkey pattern is redder than I now get. Truly a collector’s item since I can no longer duplicate the effects of the glaze and no longer have access to the clay body! Food safe. Dishwasher safe.
11.5” diameter by 1” deep.
