Tripod Teapot with Spiral Handle in Reduction-Fired Moss Celadon, Heirloom

$350.00

This is an heirloom piece, meaning that a customer who is downsizing has either sold it back or donated it to me in order to offer it to a new customer to spread the joy. This tri-footed teapot has an expressive spiral handle and is impressed with Japanese maple leaves and glazed in moss celadon. Back when I made it, I was still firing in my huge reduction kiln, so the color of the copper glaze has flashes of red in it. Truly a collector’s item since I can no longer duplicate the effects of the glaze and no longer have access to the clay body! Food safe, but the handle is delicate. Hand wash only.

  • 8” tall by 6” diameter by 10.5” from spout to handle.
