Bud Vase in Black Clay with Three Young Owls on a Branch
This little bud vase is part of my experimentation with new clay bodies and decorating techniques. Here, I’ve used Brown Bear clay decorated with underglazes used like watercolors to depict three young owls hanging out together on a branch. The interior and neck are glazed with black, while the body of the piece is left unglazed.
4” tall by 3” in diameter.
