This little bud vase is part of my experimentation with new clay bodies and decorating techniques. Here, I’ve used a buff clay decorated with a bright red underglaze. I’ve made an insect series as part of a wholesale order for a flower farm, and this little bee is one of the surplus vases from that order. Very sweet, but rather crude, in a sweet way!
4” tall by 2.5” in diameter.
