This bud vase is part of my experimentation with new clay bodies and decorating techniques. Here, I’ve used a buff clay decorated with a deep yellow underglaze. I’ve made an insect series as part of a wholesale order for a flower farm, and this spider is one of the surplus vases from that order. Will make your wildflower bouquets sing, or creep-out your spider-phobic roommate!
