This beautiful lamp is an heiroom piece, one that I have purchased back from a customer when they needed to downsize. I made this lamp back when I was still firing in my reduction kiln, so there’s a more reddish tint to the red iron-oxide wash on the church-key pattern at the neck and base. With two ferns wrapping around to meet at the middle, this lamp has a yin/yang energy. I can no longer get these fossil-leaf paper shades, so this is a very special find. There is a small darkened spot on the vase cap.
