My explorations of a variety of new clay bodies and new methods of decorating led me to make a series of small bud vases using various underglaze colors. I decided to decorate this series with Japanese brush-work-style birds in black and white. Great when you need a pick-me-up, or a small gift. Especially when presented with a few flowers.
3.25” tall by 2” diameter.
